Welcome to my website Tapestry: Mindfulness and Compassion
In today’s busy world, I am honoured you are taking the time to access my website.
The threads of my tapestry — mindfulness, self-compassion and compassion — represent many endeavours I have undertaken throughout the years. By participating in these activities of education, insight, life and work experience, my inner and outer resources have been cultivated. It is my intent and motivation to use this experience with a compassionate presence to help others weave their own tapestry with mindfulness, self-compassion and compassion for others.
The weaving of my tapestry is not complete. I continue with ongoing education, training and practice and seek guidance when new life situations are presented.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness or Mindful Awareness is the sustained present moment awareness of the inner and outer world in a neutral non-judgemental way.
Self-Compassion
Self-compassion is a warm heartedness for oneself.
Compassion
Compassion is a multitextured response with the capacity to be open to another’s pain while having the desire to alleviate and prevent it.
